Biographical Information

Dr. Aggarwal is a Professor of Management Information Systems at the Merrick School of Business, University of Baltimore. Dr. Aggarwal received his Ph.D. from the University of Houston, Houston, an MBA from the Southern Illinois University and a Bachelors in Civil Engineering from IIT, Bombay, India.

He is the Lockheed Martin Research Professor in the Merrick School of Business.

Research interests

His research interests are databases, Organizational Decision Support systems, Global Information Systems and Web-Based IT Education. His recent publications have appeared in Decision Sciences, Computer and Operations, Information and Management, Journal of Production Management, Journal of EndUser Computing, encyclopedia of Electrical and Electronic Engineering and HICSS and many other conference proceedings .

He has been teaching MIS, Database Management Systems, Decision Support Systems, Project Applications & Development, Simulation and Modeling and Programming Languages (VisualBasic, COBOL, C++).In the near future, he will be teaching a course in Data Mining.
