The significance of the total score in each of the stressor categories will, of course, vary from individual to individual. In general, however, the following guidelines may be used to provide a perspective for each score:

Total scores of less than 10 are indicators of low stress levels.

Total scores between 10 and 24 are indicative of stress levels.

Total scores of 25 and greater are indicative of high stress levels.
