Instructions for

CASE PRESENTATIONS TO CLASS

  1. Prepare a PowerPoint presentation to management for your proposal to address the issues described in the case study
  2. Each student (consultant) should play a role in the development and delivery of the presentation.

 

For the slide presentation:

  1. Not more than 10 to 12 slides (see suggestions for slides on the “group suggestions” at bottom of Cases file)

 

  1. First slide: Include the:
    1. title of the presentation
    2. name of the organization
    3. name of your consulting organization (make up one)
    4. your names as consultants  

 

  1. second slide:
    1. overview of the proposal

 

  1. subsequent slides:
    1. content of the proposal (do not use the word) “Theory”
    2. describe the situation
    3. objective of the proposal
    4. strategies (theories) suggested (at least two)
    5. recommended solution, explaining why you chose it
    6. anticipated outcomes
    7. summary slide

 

Your report for each case should incorporate your recommendations for solving the case problem. Your recommendations should be justified by explaining how they are evidence-based (on sound WOP-P principles).

The presentation will be grade on quality of:

* Content: (i.e. how well it incorporates good principles of WOP-Psychology)

* Grammar, readability

* Analysis of case using sound theory and practical applications

* Evidence-based arguments for possible chosen solutions and recommended one

* Justification for solution chosen
