Why not just use Google? In most cases, using the library databases will actually save you time and improve your grade because:

  1. The articles in library databases come from trustworthy sources, you don't have to work as hard to verify the information.
  2. The narrower scope of the databease mans more of the content will have pertinent information (e.g. if you search for cell phones, you won't get a bunch of websites trying to sell you cell phones)
  3. The indexing of articles can make it much easier to refine a search in order to find the articles you want
  4. Some of the better articles you might find on the internet cost $$$. You can get them through Langsdale Library for FREE (your tuition dollars at work).
  5. Having better information will allow you to conduct a better analysis, and thus get a better grade.

Your Assignment
