I believe UB is the top institution of higher learning within sight of that really ugly man/woman statue that someone plopped in front of Baltimore's otherwise austere Penn Station. This is mostly because the art students at MICA don't have a clear view of it (thank goodness, we don't want it to influence budding artist types).
