We're starting an intergenerational design team at the University of Baltimore and need your help. What's an intergenerational design team you may ask? An intergenerational design team is a group of kids and adults that work *together* in the design of new children's technologies. We work on a number of projects including:
The group meets twice a week after school at the University of Baltimore. We meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:45PM - 5:15PM from October to May with a four week break over the winter holidays.
We have a limited number of spaces. Any child between the ages of 7 and 11 are welcome to join as long as they live in Baltimore City. There is no cost to participate. All we ask is for a one school-year commitment.
If this is something your child is interested in or if you have questions, please contact Dr. Greg Walsh at gwalsh@ubalt.edu or 410-837-5473.
These are the forms that need to be completed to be part of Kidsteam:
Parental Permission Form - This form is for the parent/guardian to fill out. It is the general permission as well as the photo and video release.
Child Assent Form - This form is for the child participant to fill out indicating that he or she wants to do this and knows they can stop anytime they want.
You can electronically fill them out and e-mail them to me (preferred), drop off or send them to my office:
