Assignment 5:
Create a page with frames and an imagemap in the left frame
INSS 701
This is an intermediary html assignment.
- Your first task is to create a new page -- myframe.html. This page should define a left and right frames and a noframes page. Make the left frame smaller than the right frame that will be used as a target of the left frame. Your noframes page should be the one you developed for Assignment 2. Also create a default right page with greetings to your visitors, telling them to select where they want to go from the choices in the left frame.
- Your second task is to create an image of your preference to put in the left frame. You can use cliparts, PowerPoint, or other graphical package to do so, similar to what you did in assignment 5, but smaller to fit in the left frame. Any graphical image will do, but should have three areas with names of the pages you want to show in the right frame (target) as hot spots: your Resume (home page), Favorite sites (assignment 4) and Merrick School (home page).
- Your third task is to create a client-side imagemap for the image you created leading to the three sites mentioned above.
Finally, send me an e-mail with the subject 701a5 with the URL of your myframe.html page in UBMAIL.
