Susan
A. Lynn, D.B.A., CPA
Dr. Lynn is
an Associate Professor of Accounting at the Merrick School of Business, University of Baltimore. She was previously a member
of the faculty at George Mason University,
Fairfax, Virginia.
Dr. Lynn received her MBA and DBA degrees from the University
of Maryland, College
Park and her Bachelors degree from Towson University.
She is a CPA in the State of Maryland.
Research Interests
Dr. Lynn's research interests are behavioral accounting,
marketing accounting services, integrating writing into the accounting
curriculum, and assessment of student learning outcomes.
Her recent publications have appeared in the Journal
of Organizational Behavior, Research
in Governmental and Non-Profit Accounting, Financial Accountability and Management,
Advances in Public Interest Accounting,
International Journal of the Humanities, Journal of College Teaching and Learning, and International Journal of Education Research. She is on the editorial
boards of Advances in Accounting
and Advances in Accounting Education.
Teaching Interests
Dr. Lynn teaches Introduction to Financial Accounting,
Intermediate Accounting, and Advanced Accounting at both the graduate and
undergraduate levels.
