Goodness-of-fit Test for Uniform Distributions

Kolmogorov-Smirnov Goodness-of-fit
Test for Uniform Distributions

This site is a part of the JavaScript E-labs learning objects for decision making. Other JavaScript in this series are categorized under different areas of applications in the MENU section on this page.

Professor Hossein Arsham

For testing Uniform [a, b], enter your up-to-42 distinct data with their frequencies and both the lower and upper bounds respectively, then click the Calculate button. In almost all cases the frequency values are all equal to 1 which must be entered. Blank boxes are not included in the calculations but zeros are.

In entering your data to move from cell to cell in the data-matrix use the Tab key not arrow or enter keys.

Notice: Since the cumulative distribution inverse function U[0, 1], therefore this JavaScript can be used for the goodness-of-fit test of any distribution with continuous random variable and known inverse cumulative distribution function.
