Create your home page on the World Wide Web

Your first task is to create a basic Web home page, as instructed in the tutorial Essential HTML, using the student template provided in the tutorial (student.html). The tutorial was discussed in the October 3 class meeting. Use the NT computers in the lab, or any computer in your office or home, to create your home page.
Your second task is to create a WWW directory in UBmail, and upload the text of your page to this directory using WS_FTP as explained in this tutorial. Of course you may wish to FTP to UBmail, create the WWW directory using the MKDIR dialog of WS_FTP, change into the WWW directory and upload the text of your page (student.html, or whaterver you called your page).
Your third task is to have your picture converted (or captured) to a digital file -- yourpict.gif or any other name you wish to give to it and uploaded (use WS_FTP again) to the WWW directory in UBMail. The MIS Lab has a scanner you can use to scan your picture.

Finally, send me an e-mail, using as subject 610MP1, indicating the URL (address of your page). HINT: your URL will look like => http://ubmail.ubalt.edu/~yourid/home.html , where yourid is your id at UBMAIL and home.html is whatever name you gave to your page when you saved it.
