  1. INSS300 - Management Information Systems

    This is an undergraduate core course in MIS. First version: Fall of 1995. Latest version: Fall 2011. All course materials are linked to the course syllabus . Prerequisites: Introduction to Computers, like INSS 100 or equivalent.

  2. INSS315 - Information Technology

    This is an undergraduate required course in the BS in MIS and in the BS in Business, CIS specialization. Last version: Spring 2010. All course materials are linked to the course syllabus .Prerequisites: Introduction to Computers, like INSS 100 or equivalent.

  3. INSS401 - Internet and Business

    This an elective class for undergraduate students. First offered in 1995. Last version: Spring 2010. All course materials of current version are linked to the course syllabus . Prerequisites: Introduction to Computers, like INSS 100 or equivalent. This course was offered previously as INSS497 - Special Topics in Internet and Business.

    This is required course in the B.S. in MIS and B.S.B.A. major in CIS programs, with emphasis on networking using Windows . Last version: Fall 2011. All course materials are linked to the course syllabus .

  5. INSS452 - Web Server Management and CGI Programming

    This is an elective class for undergraduate students in CIS specialization or in the BS in MIS program. Last version: Fall 2004. All course materials will be linked to the course syllabus. Prerequisites: a working knowledge of Visual Basic and web development basic concepts (see my Internet and Business course).

Prerequisites: working knowledge of Information Technology (INSS315) and Networking (INSS427), or equivalent.

  8. INSS490 - MIS Capstone Project

    This is the required capstone project class for undergraduate students in the BS in MIS program. Last version: Spring 2007. All course materials are linked to the course syllabus. Prerequisites: all required courses in the BS in MIS program.

  13. INSS701 - Internet Development for Business

    This is an elective class for the MBA and M.S. in MIS programs, offered since Summer 1995. Last public version: Summer 2004. Class materials were available on the Web, only, from Spring of 2000 to 2009. Here is the current course syllabus. Prerequisite: INSS640.

  14. INSS703 - Information Security Management

    A business-oriented course on organizational information resources security. First version: Spring 2007. Course is taught fully on the Web, and class materials are only available on the Web. You can see the syllabus without links to the class materials, session notes, etc. Prerequisite: INSS640 or equivalent. This course was offered previously as INSS797 - Advanced Topics in IS - Business IT Security.

  15. INSS737 - Strategic Management of Information Technology

    This is an elective course in the MBA and M.S. programs. Last version: Fall 2006. Course is taught fully on the Web, and class materials are only available on the Web. You can see the syllabus without links to the class materials, session notes, etc. Prerequisite: INSS640.

    A field-study project capstone course. Graduate student teams undertake an M.I.S. project in the public or private sector.Last version: Fall 2004. All course materials are linked to the course syllabus. Prerequisites: all required courses of the MS in MIS program.
